  • Impaired Sensation and Circulation

    • Impaired thermal sensation or numbness in the extremities, such as with diabetic neuropathy 

    • Poor circulation or peripheral vascular diseases 

    • Significant edema (swelling) 

  • Allergies and Sensitivities

    • Known allergies or sensitivity to paraffin or additives in paraffin blends, such as fragrances 

  • Acute Conditions

    • Acute injuries, soreness, or swelling 

  • Other Conditions

    • Certain skin conditions like neoplasms and tumors 

    • Individuals with conditions that affect their ability to tolerate heat
